The Memphis Chapter has been a perenial winner of first the 4-Star then the 5-Star Level Of Excellence (LOE) Award from MOAA National.  We have won 14 consecutive awards from 2008-2021.

In 2020, we won our first Col Marvin J Harris Communications Award. This is MOAA's annual contest identifying those councils and chapters that do an outstanding job communicating with their members via Print/E-Newsletter and Website categories. We were honored to earn the 5 star Communication Award for the 2nd straight year.
