The Chapter actively supports the JROTC programs at 49 high schools in West Tennessee and Northern Mississippi.

Each year, the top students from the JROTC at each school are honored with MOAA Leadership Awards and many are presented by Chapter members. Pictures of award presentations can be found in our Photo.

We also encourage cadets to apply for a scholarship awarded annually by the Chapter.

Our goal is for every school to receive coordination.  Here's what an MOAA JROTC Support Coordinator is responsible for:

• • Establish and maintain a positive and supportive relationship with the JROTC instructors within your support area.
  • Identify and coordinate your JROTC unit(s) needs with MOAA.
  • Annually, provide the MOAA JROTC award sets to the JROTC units within your area. (MOAA JROTC award sets will be provided to you.)
  • Annually, attend or arrange for other MOAA members to attend the annual JROTC unit awards ceremonies and present the MOAA JROTC awards. Provide photo(s) of the awards presentation(s) to the chapter.
